The Martin West reverse zip — our innovation. We pioneered the reverse-fitted back zip on water polo suits: it closes on the downward stroke, so an opponent grabbing at your suit in a scramble would have to pull the zip up to open it — almost impossible mid-game. Velcro security patches reinforce both ends of the zip, keeping your suit securely closed through the roughest match.

Sizing: Water polo suits fit tight — that's the correct competition fit. Choose by your body measurements in cm (below), not your usual clothing size. For a more relaxed training fit, go one size up. Junior players: please measure rather than buying by age.

The letter alias is a rough guide only — our sizing runs smaller than everyday clothing, so go by your bust measurement first.

How to measure

  • Bust: around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms.
  • Waist: around the narrowest part of your waist.
  • Hip: around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
  • Torso (girth): from one shoulder, down the front, through the legs and back to the same shoulder. If your torso is long for your bust size, go one size up.
Junior swimmers: rough age guide only — 22 ≈ 5–6 yrs, 24 ≈ 7–8 yrs, 26 ≈ 9–10 yrs, 28 ≈ 11–12 yrs, 30 ≈ 13–14 yrs. Children vary at the same age, so measure and choose by the numbers, not by age.

Care: Rinse in cold water after every session. Cold-water wash, do not soak, do not bleach, do not iron, cool tumble dry only, and wash dark colours separately.
